Residential Code with
Optional Fire Sprinklers.

St. Louis County Council passed the International Residential Code with a provision for a mandatory option for residential fire sprinklers on June 29, 2010.
With this code new home builders must offer sprinkler systems on every new home.

However it will still be the buyer’s decision as to whether or not to purchase the system.
The sprinkler system will add a hefty cost to the
purchase of the new home.

Please check with your home builder, your Realtor or call our office today for more information.
